Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water ~ 50ml Review

A big hellooo to all you beautiful woman out there....

Today I am going to review the rose water toner from Kama Ayurveda. As we all know how toners are important for our skin and that it should be religiously included in our skin care regime. Most of the toners available in the market today are alcohol free and soothe the skin unlike the toners that were available before. My grandmother often suggested me to apply cool rose water as its mild astringent properties would tighten pores and gently tone the skin. I have oily and acne prone skin and after a lot of experimenting with different toners I came across this miraculous rose water toner by an exotic all natural ayurvedic brand - 'Kama Ayurveda'.

A symbol of beauty, purity and freshness, Rose has soothing, healing, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and since it comes from such a renowned brand it makes it all the more worth it. Rose cleanses, purifies, firms and tones the skin. It treats dry and ageing skin. It helps to get rid of pigmentation, redness and swelling. For oily skin it balances the oil content and can be used for treating skin irritations and burns. It also prevents outbreaks of skin problems like acne, pore block, blackheads, pimples, wrinkles and lines. It is used as an astringent to hydrate the skin and make it healthy, youthful, supple, fresh and glowing.

Ingredients
Lot of people have been raving about this product and it is one of the most popular products of this brand. So lets find out how this product worked on me, what was my experience and if the product is worth all the hype !!

My take on the product:

The product claims to balance and restore skin's pH level and helps tighten pores. The packaging is quiet simple yet classy. It comes in a handy, dark spray bottle with a transparent cap. The plastic bottle with the nozzle is quite sturdy, easy to use and easy to carry in my handbag while travelling. Also the cute packaging with the pastel rosy pink and golden label looks too elegant.

It has a pleasant, mild rose fragrance which does not linger on for long and disappears after sometime. The rose water is alcohol free as well as it does not contain any artificial colour, chemicals or fragrance.

This toner is made from the roses of Kannauj which are considered special due to its similarity to the Bulgarian roses. The steam distillation process used to create this water ensures high level of hygiene and unmatched purity. I usually spray it directly on my skin and then spread it evenly on my entire face and then let it dry. I can feel the soothing effect instantly and it tones my skin and tightens my pores. Sometimes I also spray it in a cotton and rub it off on my skin and it removes the excess dirt from the pores. Secondly I use it as a makeup setting spray and it works really well. Last but not the least whenever I feel my skin needs hydration I just spray some on my skin, pat it and my skin is back to life again !!

I was very hesitant at first to use a toner fearing if it would break me out but the Kama Ayurveda toner has been a blessing for me. This is my third bottle and I can undoubtedly say that it has worked great for my skin and since it is just pure rose water it can be used by all skin types.

Price : Rs 250 for 50 ml

Rating : 4.8/5

My final thoughts on this toner is that I really love the product and it has worked very well for my oily and acne prone skin. It is really mild and gentle on my skin. It has now become an indispensable part of my skin care regime and I use it religiously. It has also become a must have in my handbag and hydrates and refreshes my skin on the go.

I would really recommend this product to everyone no matter whatever skin type you have.  Those of you who have already used this product do let me know your thoughts and views in the comment section below.
